 | Those who have poisoned you air, and blotted your light out, Could you, yourself, My Lord! forgive them? Could you, yourself, My Lord! love them too?
Since my childhood I lived and grown up with Rabindranath Tagore, who has always been my God. My mother used to recite his verses and one particular poem, Prasna, The Question, was and is my most favourite one among them all what I do recite several times every now and then. But ironically the same poem has become a true incident in my real life of late. I was just stunned realizing that! Today, being “Baishe Sraban”, the death anniversary of the great poet, let me again recite this poem to pay homage to him. So true it has been in my uncompassionate life.
Prasna (Question)
Lord, time and again you have sent your messengers to this heartless world; and they have asked us to pardon all, to love all, to pluck out of the heart the poisonous roots of hatred.
They are adorable and ever to be remembered. Yet in these dark days from my doorstep I have turned them back with an empty salutation.
Have I not myself seen how, under cover of night, secret violence strikes at helpless innocence, and the aggression of the mighty unchecked in lonely silence the voice of justice chokes? Have I not seen young enthusiasts, in a wild rush, court painful death, knocking against stone walls in vain?
My voice is strangled, dumb my flute, The world is swaddled and lost in a nightmare of darkness abounding.
And I ask you: those who are poisoning your air, and blotting out your light, can you forgive them, is your love for them too?
Rabindranath Tagore (7 May 1861 ‒ 7 August 1941) and this poem Prasna (January 26, 1932).
Nothing more needs to be conveyed in the cir cum stances beyond the above unforgettable words of Rabindranath that aptly mirror the anguish of a stunned humanity in the killing fields love and faith.

In Response to EdenGardens post 1.
In response to the post The Credit for this Blog goes to Mr. Walker .. lonelysoulwalks by my friend EdenGarden, let me express my gratitude to her with these few lines .............
None likes to walk alone, Until he is forced to, Until ditched by his companion, Who at least once pretended to be one though.
But life doesnt stop there. One has to carry on with it. Maybe some friends out here Help you stand up on your feet.
My friend Eden is one of those few, Who care for humanity and friendship, And make you believe in you, And make your world a better place to live in.
She orders me not to walk alone, And I bow to obey her order. As now I dont feel like being alone, Amidst wonderful companions like my fellow bloggers.
Thank you Eden for your immense support........
Love...........

 My fellow bloggers
This is simply a work of fun and joke and no real intension to hurt anyone or anybody concerned. Still if someone gets hurt, I shall ever remain apologetic to him/her.
Its wonderful to be in blogsphere. Yes, thats the term I coined for this wonder world. One can always be flooded by ideas new, They make you think and write anew.
Its amazing to meet people across the globe. Through their words at their own abode. Meeting them everyday is my bliss in solitude, Let the send kudos to those wonderful people.
Here I find Jean as spicy as a hot cousin, But bothered miserably about teenage smoking! Eden is not also in a mood of having pity on us, She sandwiches us between two women in pleasure. She got ourselves stuck between two condoms; Puzzling us which one would burst at random! BegumMagnolia has all her treasures hidden within; Daring to let us know what they like from men indeed! Aumoshoaum seems to be disapproving whatever is stated, But no help comes from him as what is really needed! Kumar Sahib meets a new love every other day; Only to miss her again on the very next day! Isabella is too romantic in her lovely thoughts; God help those poor men, who, on her eyes, get lost! Anamika hates to be lonely forever; Starts a new day every morning as a new born star. Eyefullbella shouldnt catch cough n cold, Im afraid! As for years together she has been sleeping naked! There are so many who wouldnt let you feel lonely; No matter if or not they are with you and friendly. They are the people who make our mornings beautiful With their thoughts and verses, graceful.
I thank all of them who helped and mailed me; And hailed my journey what I started lonely. Now I dont feel like a stranger anymore; As I have the whole world with me to support.
Thanking them Ill take a short break from now onwards; Always shall I be indebted to you my fellow bloggers. Keep on writing and never stop even for a while; This walker survives only through your words, wise.
Love.................

At times you find yourself
Sometimes you find yourself, At the crossroad of life ruthless. And you cant hope to turn again; Rather let yourself lie at one bed of pain.
But again you find yourself Pulled back and up at your own strength. And you start walking on your way To that divinity you missed to sway.
Then you find yourself again Empowered by the love you did refrain, From those special people in your life, Who you ignored for some venture, unwise.
And now you find yourself realizing That they love you for real and not pretending, They want you to be with them As a real companion, not like a puppet of any game.

 Two walkers in rain
Its the season of rain. Rain pours throughout the day and night.
A lonely soul walks through the rain. Walks through all the rains drops he Once accumulated in his journey in rain. He now walks with them in his journey lone.
Once he was up on the terrace in rain. When he saw two lovers walking Together under one umbrella in rain, Hand in hand, engrossed in themselves. Never had they cared anyone passing by At that otherwise crowded road..... Together they were like made for each other, Ever responding, ever caring for each other,
Its another fact that the girl has now Forgotten the journey ever wandered. As she was eager to flap her wings Towards another direction leaving The other in the pool of blood oozing Out of his lone unspoken heart. Left she, leaving the other in a state Of shock and utter dismay.......
The lonely soul still stands up on the terrace, Only to find the boy still walking His way through his unfinished journey, Carrying his uncompassionate life, Without the umbrella over his head Wetting in the rain as if he loves to get wet.
The lonely soul watches him every day, As if he is his soul mate in some way or other.......

Rainy Night.

 Rainy Night.
Throughout the day its raining. Stray water might have clogged Under the old bridge touching the ends. Some more rain and the city will be flooded. The roads are all blocked. Incessant traffic comes to a dead end.
Far at the street-end, a light glows Near the crematorium where a pyre Is being burnt. Someone is crying silently. It wont it be for long. Soon they will Have to vacate this space for some other. There is no street dog tonight. To keep vigil and hound unknown passers-by. Somewhere in this wet road A beggar seeks a place to take shelter. Where he cant sleep ever but Can hope for some nap at least.
Somewhere in this grim ambiance, Some flower must have bloomed. Somewhere in someplace else Some rose will see sunny dawn, lovely.

 My quest
Let me walk on my own; My en route to the divine. Let me feel the power of wisdom Let my knowledge shine.
Some hearts that glitter a lot; But certainly not made of gold. They glitter only to conspire, Where love is bought and sold.
Let me not touch them ever again; For they can only bring venom. Cant they ever produce nectar, Because it cant be created on its own.
Let my world be wider than ever before, Where true knowledge prevails. Let humanity be the last resort henceforth To bring the dawn ending the darkness full of lies.
