I pick up signs, gather clues,
String them together like beads.
I travel through and beyond
The spaces conjured by thought,
Stand at the crossroads of times
And try each path, and what not.
So far and deep I will go
In search of my real self
To find it solved long ago
In this thin book on the shelf.
So many poems compress
All fates that one can conceive,
And if you want, you can read
The script of life that one live.

Something was always missing
On which I could not put my finger
Kind of like you had just left the room
But your essence still would linger
Like Id known you for all my life
Yet missed you just as long
Just a melody that haunted me
But no words to the song
I have stood at the peak of a mountain high,
Looked down on the world below;
I have seen the beauty of a starlit sky
And the sunset's golden afterglow.
Like the most romantic sunset
And I was all alone
Patiently I waited for you
To make your presence known
So here I am
with open arms
Anxious for your love so much
Ill wait for you
all my years
Or miss you
just that much !
Suddenly it all made sense
This enigma of my heart
My special path must lead to me
If our life is to start
I have seen the fury of the raging sea
And searched for the rainbow's end
But the greatest treasure of all to me,

Lying down on my rough hard bed,
