I look to the new year and my wish for you:
Peace within your heart
Love from family and friends
Faith to guide your way
Hope to to make it through each day
Sunshine to light the day
Heavenly Stars to wish upon
Rainbows to let you know there is a tomorrow
A tear to show compassion
A heart to hold the love
But most of all I wish for you
to feel my hand in yours,
To know I am here if you stumble or fall.
To bring you cheer, to bring you love,
to return the love you always share with me...

The Rose Within

A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully and before it blossomed, he examined it.
He saw the bud that would soon blossom, but noticed thorns upon the stem and he thought, "How can any beautiful flower come from a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns? Saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose, and just before it was ready to bloom... it died.
So it is with many people. Within every soul there is a rose. The God-like qualities planted in us at birth, grow amid the thorns of our faults. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects.
We despair, thinking that nothing good can possibly come from us. We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies. We never realize our potential.
Some people do not see the rose within themselves; someone else must show it to them. One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns of another, and find the rose within them.
This is one of the characteristic of love... to look at a person, know their true faults and accepting that person into your life... all the while recognizing the nobility in their soul. Help others to realize they can overcome their faults. If we show them the "rose" within themselves, they will conquer their thorns. Only then they will blossom many times over.

Valentine’s Day gives me a reason
to express the feelings

When I cry you help me out
when I'm happy you hear me shout,
when I grin you know I'm mad,
for you're my best friend so you know when I'm sad.
Your're there in thick and thin you are my best friend.
You hear me out when I want to talk
you help me out when I get mad
your're the best friend I've ever had.
So hear me out when I say you're the light in my day.
You are the moon in my night.

Remain as you are......

A middle aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.
While on the operating table she had a near death experience.
Seeing God She asked "Is my time up?" God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live." Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a Facelift, liposuction, and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color.
Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 40 years? Why didn`t you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"
God replied,
"I didn`t recognize you."
p.s. It`s a copy-past story, which I wanted to share with you.

Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends.
Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,
As the fresh and bright new year arrives.
And when I ponder those who do,
I immediately think of you.
Thanks for being one of the reasons

Simple Secret for a Successful Marriage!!

Monica married Hitesh the other day. At the end of the wedding party, Monica's mother gave her a newly opened bank saving passbook, with Rs.1000 deposit amount.
Mother said, 'Monica, take this passbook. Keep it as a record of your marriage life. When something happy and memorable happens in your new life, put some money in. Write down what it's about next to the line. The more memorable the event is, the more money you can put in. I've done the first one for you today. Do the others with Hitesh. When you look back after years, you can know how much happiness you've had.”
Monica shared this with Hitesh when getting home. They both thought it was a great idea and were anxious to know when the second deposit can be made.
This was what they did after certain time,
- 7 Feb: Rs.100, first birthday celebration for Hitesh after marriage
- 1 Mar: Rs.300, salary raise for Monica
- 20 Mar: Rs.200, vacation trip to Bali
- 15 Apr: Rs.2000, Monica got pregnant
- 1 Jun: Rs.1000, Hitesh got promoted
..... And so on...
However, after a few years, they started fighting and arguing for trivial things. They didn't talk much. They regretted that they had married the nastiest people in the world and it seemed that there was no more love…
One day Monica talked to her Mother, “Mom, we can't stand it anymore. We agree to divorce. I can't imagine how I decided to marry this guy!!!”
Mother said “Sure, girl, that's no big deal. Just do whatever you want if you really can't stand it. But before that, do one thing. Remember the saving passbook I gave you on your wedding day? Take out all money and spend it first. You shouldn't keep any record of such a poor marriage.” Monica thought it was right. So she went to the bank, waiting at the queue and planning to cancel the account. While she was waiting, she took a look at the passbook record. She looked and looked and looked. The memories of all the previous joy and happiness just came rushing into her mind. Her eyes were then filled with tears. She left and went home.
Back home, she handed the passbook to Hitesh, asked him to spend the money before getting the divorce.
The next day, Hitesh gave the passbook back to Monica. She found a new deposit of Rs.5000 and a line next to the record which said, “‘this is the day I noticed how much I've loved you thru all these years and how much happiness you've brought me.”
They hugged and cried, and put the passbook back into the safe.
Do you know how much money they had saved when they retired? I did not ask. I believe the money did not matter any more after they had gone thru all the good years in their life
Amazing story isnt it... take away for the married lot and also the aspiring ones... 
‘When you fall in life in any way, don’t see the place where you fell, instead see the place from where you slipped. Life is about correcting mistakes...
