JAGANNATH temple at puri is on hill.The way it is covered no body cant imagine same.On that hill one spring is there,there one small pond there,where always water available. That time one CROW(Bhusanda kaka called),at his last part of life took bath unknowingly or knowingly ,immediately got MOKHYA(no further birth).Which confused YAMARAJ and made him anoyed and affected his position also.

However in regards to colour WHITE,YELLOW and BLACK signify one major thing of nature. If we see from left WHITE means DAY,YELLOW indicates EVENING(SUN SET).BLACK represents NIGHT. Here BALARAM AND SUBHADRA both identify themselves as ANANTA and LORD JAGANNATH is himself NARAYAN. Just observe both BALABHADRA and SUBHADRA on right side of LORD JAGANNATH.And left side to viewers. Ananta always with him on different form in different era.Sometimes as Lakhman,sometimes as Balaram etc.Here as ANANTA also. ANANTA was BALARAM ,he has proved here.

Yes it is explained,MUSLIMS worship almost quater of moon on IDDA day,which is reflected on their mouth.Deities mouth shapes r alike. CHRISTINITY; Cross is reflected ,on nose of LORD JAGANNATH,which is called NAKACHANA.One type of nose ornament made on flowers every day.
